The 80% vs. the 20%: Why Most Souls Never Individuate

A hard truth that has been weighing on my heart lately is the fact that about 80% of the current population has not individuated their soul.

What does this mean?

They live in a tribal consciousness. This is, essentially, a survival-based, almost animalistic state of mind where a person's idea of "safety" depends on "sameness". These people have a very difficult time actually thinking for themselves. They often adopt beliefs from their family, friends, community, and culture with very little self-awareness or contemplation.

And here's why... confronting reality would destroy them. For the non-individuated soul, ego death is not just uncomfortable, it's catastrophic. It is the complete demolition of the life they have so carefully built their entire life around. Their identities, loyalties, and sense of safety are all wrapped up in this carefully crafted illusion. To question their reality even slightly means risking the collapse of everything they know.

Because of this, a non-individuated person cannot truly operate in reality. Their lives are organized around illusion. They operate from borrowed beliefs, external approval, and tribal loyalty. To function in reality would require individuation, and without it, they are navigating a shadow world that only feels safe because everyone around them agrees to the same illusions.

Instead of facing that destruction, the 80% cling harder to their tribal mindset. They need others to think, act, and behave the same way they do, because it props up the fragile structure of their false security. When you refuse to conform, these people feel incredibly threatened. It's easier for them to pressure others back into their illusion than to face the wreckage of their own.

Sounds familiar, doesn't it?

I write this, not to shame or condemn these people. Rather, I think talking about this helps me build a greater level of understanding, compassion, and empathy for what's happening in our world. And my hope is that it does for you too.

Why the 80% react emotionally

Hop onto social media real quick and observe how people respond to policitics, social issues, or any major current event. You will quickly recognize the 80% because they are the ones who get immediately swept up in their emotions (i.e., fear, outrage, and division). That's becasue they've tied their entire sense of self to the group. When the group identity feels threatened, this group goes straight into survival mode.

The 20% are different. Having endured ego death and self-individuation, they've already let their false world burn. They no longer need to cling to illusions. So they respond instead of react. They see more clearly. They take the high road. They practice non-judgement towards others and non-attachment to outcomes. They stay grounded, even during chaotic times. They don't need to destroy others to feel safe.

And here's something few people are talking about: the more individuated your soul becomes, the more ridiculous everything in the outer world starts to look. Including yourself! You begin to see how absurd your old beliefs were. You see how silly the arguments and power struggles around you are, no matter what side of the aisle you're on.

I've noticed this in my own journey. As you know, this lifetime has been a deeply spiritual one for me. The more my soul has begun to individuate, the less interest I have in all forms of religion and new-age spirituality, for example. Both, in their own way, operate like groupthink; tribes with unwritten rules and borrowed beliefs. When your soul begins to individuate, you step back from all systems and finally see the group mind at work. And once you see it, you can't unsee it.

Why You Can't Force Change

If you're reading this, you're more than likely a part of the 20%. So, here's my advice for you (and myself). You cannot force the 80% to wake up. Trying to push them into ego death is like swinging a hammer at the only shelter they believe they have. For them, confronting reality is the destruction of their life.

No one volunteers for the destruction until their soul is ready.

And, here's an even harder truth... some never will (at least not in this lifetime). For certain souls, staying in the 80% may actually be their purpose in this lifetime, whether to fulfill karmic lessons, hold up a mirror for others, or experience tribal consciousness fully. That's between only them and God.

Your job is not to play God. Your job is to walk in Truth. To let your life be the light. To lead by example and show others what freedom truly looks like, without expectation of who follows.

Because individuation can't be forced. It can only be chosen.

How Evil Blocks Individuation

Initially, I was going to leave this conversation to end here. But, I don't think we can even begin to have this conversation without addressing the elephant in the room... evil.

Evil has one primary strategy: to keep souls from ever individuating.

It does this by manufacturing an environment of constant fear, chaos, and uncertainty. When a person never feels safe and they feel powerless to change their circumstances, they don't have the bandwidth to step back and question their life. They're too busy surviving to ever become their own person.

This is why fear-based systems thrive. Whether it is politics, media, religion, or culture, the steady stream of crisis and outrage is intentional. It keeps the masses locked in tribal consciousness, too afraid to let the illusions collapse. It is psychological warfare designed to make sure they never experience the ego death that would set them free.

Let me be quite frank. This is a powerful form of chaos magic. And, it is one of the greatest forms of spiritual warfare we are up against right now. It creates a feeling of hopelessness, exasperation, and constant doubt in the systems we live under. And when people are caught in that constant loop, they're far easier to control.

The good news is that once your soul begins to individuate, you begin to see this strategy more clearly. Fear no longer controls you. Chaos no longer manipulates you. You stop reacting like an animal in survival mode and start responding with clarity, groundedness, and Truth.

Seeing the Game for What it Is

To truly individuate, you must first understand who and what the enemy is. This isn't about a political party, a social system, or even a country. The real enemy is far bigger and older than any of those things.

The game has always been the same: chaos, fear, and division. Divide and conquer. Keep souls distracted, separated, and afraid so they never stop to question the illusions that they're being spoon fed. That's how evil operates. That's how it keeps 80% of humanity locked in tribal consciousness.

But once you see the game, you have a choice to stop playing it. You can choose to stop reacting like an animal in survial mode every time the "pot gets stirred." You can learn to stand in truth (not the group's truth, not the system's truth), but the truth of God written in your heart.

And that's the turning point. Individuation isn't just about "thinking for yourself." It is about stepping out of the false world and into the real one. It is about knowing God in your heart. It's about finding the Truth within yourself. Not because someone told you, but because you've walked through the fire of ego death and found Him there waiting.

Here's one final thought I will leave you with...

Our task is not to destroy the 80%. Our task is to let the false self in us burn, so that the true soul can rise from the ashes.

These times that we are living in are not easy, but they are essential for the growth and evolution of our individuated souls.

With Love,

Kelsey
